If this post seems like a photo dump, it REALLY is.


I think when I see Mom's online a lot of the time the hustle and rush of everything is  being portrayed.


Either they are uber well-to-do relaxing whilst making sourdough  with perfectly-only organically fed kiddos dressed in linen cottage core wardrobes spotless from head to toe... Oooor

I'm seeing moms day drinking while feeding their hilariously portrayed children cheetos and complaining about how little their husbands do  as claiming to be semi-feral part of their comedic skit for the world to see..


I just want to pour out some in-between, there is rest, and beauty and grit and growth and dear Ava is already learning so much as she enters her "Momma Era."


Don't get me wrong! I love those pintrest-perfect looking posts, they give great ideas and sometimes goals to reach aesthetically, and nobody is gonna tell me that they've taken care of children and not found themselves just giving them the McDonald's quality junk food from time to time and laughing at the mess of it all...


There is just too much beauty in both to dismiss in my opinion.


But most of all with this post I just want to highlight that one thing Ava said during our session that was simply so nurturing and wild and beautiful.


"I just can't wait to meet him, to show him everything..." -Ava


It means so much more when you think about the world we live in and the way the Bible calls us to lead our children, but especially the way parents are growing up with their children for the first time too, this is the first time those three souls will have ever done this together.

Wild.
